qkto.me is a URL shortening service that allows users to create shortened links, track analytics, generate QR codes, and manage their links through a dashboard. We provide both free and paid tiers of service.

3. Beta Program

During our beta period (until March 31, 2026), all premium features are available for free. After the beta period:

  • Free tier: Up to 1,000 clicks per month with basic features
  • Paid tiers: Various plans with advanced features and higher limits
  • We will notify you at least 30 days before any pricing changes take effect

4. User Accounts

To use certain features, you must:

  • Create an account with accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Be at least 13 years of age (or legal age in your jurisdiction)
  • Not create multiple accounts to circumvent service limitations
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Share illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory content
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or other malicious code
  • Engage in phishing, spam, or fraudulent activities
  • Violate intellectual property rights

You are responsible for the URLs you shorten and the content they lead to. We reserve the right to:

  • Report illegal content to appropriate authorities

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by qkto.me and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of the URLs you submit, but grant us a license to use, store, and display them as necessary to provide the Service.

8. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • That defects will be corrected
  • That the Service will meet your specific requirements
  • The permanence of shortened links (though we make reasonable efforts)

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

9. Payment Terms

For paid plans (after beta period):

  • Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • We may change pricing with 30 days notice
  • You are responsible for all taxes associated with your purchase
  • Failure to pay may result in service suspension or termination

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Illegal or fraudulent activity
  • Non-payment of fees
  • At our sole discretion for any reason

You may terminate your account at any time through the dashboard settings.

11. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages arising from third-party content or links
  • Service interruptions or errors

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or $100, whichever is greater.

12. Indemnification
